New House New Automation

About two years ago we moved from our condo into a 100+ year old house. That is probably around the same time as my last blog post. I am looking for a way to keep my automation hobby fun so I am trying this blogging thing again.

Moving into a new house provided me with a blank canvas and new opportunities from a home automation standpoint. I have been working to integrate a lot more systems and also re-think how others work. I am also dealing with the fact that we use this automation system daily and any issues become kind of problematic and take away the fun of the hobby.

So I will always work to install and setup systems that work well and have multiple control options. I hope that some of what I share will be helpful to the community.
